  6.                This  specifies the name of  an optional index  file for the
  7.                file  area.  You must specify the file's complete path name.
  8.                Once  a file name  is specified in  this field,  you can use
  9.                MakeIdx to  generate the  appropriate index file  and TriBBS
  10.                will use the index  file to locate files.   This can greatly
  11.                speed  up TriBBS's operation in large file areas such as CD-
  12.                ROM file areas.

  14.      While  editing the file area  values, the following  function keys are
  15.      active:

  19.           <SPACE>             Toggle a toggle field.
  20.           <TAB>               Move to the next field.
  21.           <SHIFT><TAB>        Move to the previous field.
  22.           <F2>                Add a file area.
  23.           <F3>                This  key   allows  you  to  add   up  to  10
  24.                               additional directory paths for the file area.
  25.                               This  is  extremely useful  for consolidating
  26.                               similar file directories (such as CD-ROM file
  27.                               directories) into  a single  file area.   For
  28.                               example, a board may have a Windows directory
  29.                               on  the hard  disk  and one  or more  Windows
  30.                               directories on a CD-ROM.   By specifying  the
  31.                               directories  in  the  file area's  additional
  32.                               paths,  all of  the Windows  directories will
  33.                               appear as a single file area to the caller.
  34.           <INSERT>            Insert  a new  file area  before the  current
  35.                               file area.
  36.           <DELETE>            Delete the current file area.
  37.           <PGDN>              Move to the next file area.
  38.           <PGUP>              Move to the previous file area.
  39.           <ALT><N>            Jump to a specified file area.
  40.           <F10> or <ESC>      Exit the configure file area editor.

  43.      To configure the events, you need to press <E> at  the Configure menu.
  44.      Once  the configure events option  is selected, you  will be presented
  45.      with the following items:
